On Sunday Lydia and I went to this huge awesome Christmas party that she had won tickets to from her Sunday school class. The leader of her Sunday school class is this big time lawyer and he puts a Christmas party on for all his firms every year. He takes the tickets that don’t get RSVP-ed for and gives them away in his Sunday school class.
It is hosted on his property. Where he has animals, a train, a byzantine chapel replica, a theological library, ponds, and tons more. They bring in carnival rides, food, and games. They also have a legit concert later on in the afternoon. This year the concert was Faith Hill and Tim McGraw.
We had a blast. We got there when it first started, got some delicious BBQ Then we walked around a bit, saw the animals, went on the train ride, and saw what all was there. Then we went and got in line for the concert. And we ended up getting decent seats! Then after the concert this year they kept the rides open for a while after. So Lydia rode most of them, and I went on 1 with her. Then we went into his chapel to take some pictures (I love that place! We’ve been in it twice before). Then we headed home.
And now I’ll let the pictures do the talking….
